Nestle USA has issued a voluntary recall for four frozen food products after discovering "wood-like material" in some batches. The announcement, made Monday, covers three Lean Cuisine meals and one Stouffer's item, all produced between August 2024 and March 2025.

The affected products include Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli, Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry, and Stouffer's Party Size Chicken Lasagna. Distributed across major retailers, these batches carry specific best-by dates ranging from October 2025 to March 2026. A full list of batch numbers is available for customers to verify.

According to Nestle, the recall follows consumer complaints, including one potential choking incident. The company emphasized that it is actively investigating the source of the issue and has reassured customers that this appears to be an isolated situation.

"We are taking this action after consumers contacted Nestle USA about this issue," the company said in its news release. "We are working closely with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture to resolve the matter."
