Arch Manning, stepping into the spotlight as the Texas Longhorns’ starting quarterback, is already drawing big comparisons. Former Texas coach Mack Brown recently likened the young star to the legendary Vince Young, a name synonymous with Longhorns glory. Speaking on The Stampede, Brown highlighted Manning’s humility and self-deprecating nature, traits reminiscent of Young at a similar stage in his career.

Brown pointed out Manning’s grounded demeanor, especially during his SEC Media Days appearance, where he deftly sidestepped hype and focused on the game ahead.
