Mark Epstein calls FBI memo on Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide ruling 'stupid,' insists his brother was murdered, citing autopsy inconsistencies and lack of transparency.
Mark Epstein, brother of the late Jeffrey Epstein, has openly scoffed at a recent FBI memo that staunchly defends the controversial ruling of his brother’s death as a suicide. In a fiery interview with NewsNation, the 70-year-old dismissed the federal investigators’ conclusions as "stupid", insisting that Jeffrey Epstein’s death in a Manhattan federal jail in 2019 was likely a murder.
Mark Epstein pointed to inconsistencies in the autopsy findings and his brother’s optimistic demeanor ahead of a bail hearing, arguing these factors clash with the official suicide narrative. "Every time they try to shut down the murder theory, they dig themselves deeper into absurdity," he quipped, highlighting his frustration with the lack of transparency, including New York officials’ refusal to release the 911 call from the day of the incident.
The FBI’s 2023 report, spanning 128 pages, concluded that Jeffrey Epstein, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, took his own life at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. A recent memo, backed by the Justice Department, reiterated this stance, stating that a review of over 300 gigabytes of data and physical evidence revealed no "client list" or evidence of blackmail involving prominent figures. The memo also noted that many files, including images and videos of minor victims, remain sealed by court order.
Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, currently appealing her trafficking conviction, also cast doubt on the suicide ruling in a prison interview with The Guardian, stating, "I believe he was murdered." Despite the release of documents from Maxwell’s trial, including victim photos and communication logs, the elusive "client list" remains nonexistent, according to the DOJ.
Mark Epstein’s skepticism resonates with a broader public distrust, as the official narrative continues to be questioned in the face of lingering mysteries surrounding one of the most high-profile cases in recent history.

The FBI’s memo reads like a bad detective novel—insisting it’s a suicide while the plot screams cover-up. Maybe they think Epstein’s cell had a 'self-destruct' button? The real mystery: why keep the 911 call under wraps? Sounds like someone’s hiding the punchline to a very dark joke.
