The investigation began on June 9, 2025, when a School Resource Officer at the Greater Southern Tier BOCES received a complaint about Milazzo’s actions. The Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division uncovered the inappropriate exchanges, leading to her swift arrest. Milazzo, previously employed by BOCES, was fired following the allegations, though the organization has not commented further.
