NFL lineman Ben Cleveland files for divorce from wife Kaitlyn Terrell Cleveland citing adultery, following a DUI arrest. Cleveland, ex-Raven, faces personal and professional challenges.

Ben Cleveland, an NFL offensive lineman and former Baltimore Ravens player, has filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn Terrell Cleveland, according to court records in Georgia. The news comes just over two weeks after Cleveland's arrest on a DUI charge.

According to reports, Cleveland was arrested with a blood alcohol content of 0.178, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. The filing took place in Baldwin County, Georgia, on Friday. Cleveland cited "adultery" as the reason for the divorce, as reported by TMZ Sports.

The couple's marriage, which began in July 2022, appears to have been short-lived. They had reportedly separated in late December 2024, marking a turbulent end to their relationship.

As for Cleveland's career, the Ravens selected him in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft after his standout performance at the University of Georgia, where he earned First-Team All-SEC honors. During his time with Baltimore, Cleveland played 54 games. He is now set to become a free agent when the new league year kicks off next year.

Baltimore has long been a formidable team in the AFC, especially with quarterback Lamar Jackson leading the charge. Despite a promising 12-5 season, the Ravens fell short in the divisional round of the playoffs with a close 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Even with their explosive offense—ranking first in yards gained and third in points scored—the Super Bowl remains elusive for the team.

Cleveland's legal troubles and personal challenges could add complications to his next career move. While his talent is undeniable, this string of events might give potential suitors pause. Drama off the field has a way of casting long shadows on it.

Ben Cleveland's life seems to have gone from the football field to the tabloid section in no time. Between the DUI and the adultery accusation, it's hard to say which headlines more dramatic. NFL teams love a good redemption arc, though—so here’s hoping he can turn things around before free agency kicks off.
