Travis Decker, accused of murdering his three daughters, remains at large in Washington wilderness. New flyer shows possible appearance changes as manhunt intensifies.
The hunt for Travis Decker, a 32-year-old father accused of the heartbreaking murder of his three young daughters, has entered its third week, with authorities releasing a new flyer showcasing potential changes to his appearance. Decker, wanted for the alleged killing of Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, is believed to be evading capture in the rugged Washington wilderness, leveraging his military training and wilderness survival skills.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office discovered the girls’ bodies near Rock Island Campground, roughly 30 miles from Decker’s abandoned car, after his ex-wife reported their absence following a court-ordered visitation on May 30. The new flyer illustrates Decker with and without facial hair, possibly wearing a baseball cap, as authorities suspect he’s altering his look to avoid detection.
Decker, a military veteran with a history of mental health struggles, including borderline personality disorder, has been living a transient life between campgrounds and motels. His expertise in surviving harsh environments with minimal gear complicates the manhunt, now led by federal authorities, including the U.S. Marshals Service and Washington National Guard, with aerial and ground searches spanning remote areas like Ingalls Creek and Valley High.
A $20,000 reward is offered for information leading to Decker’s arrest, as he faces charges of three counts of aggravated first-degree murder and kidnapping. Authorities warn he’s armed and dangerous, urging the public to secure homes, stay vigilant, and report suspicious activity to 911. A fake TikTok video falsely claiming Decker’s capture has been debunked by the sheriff’s office.

Decker’s out there playing hide-and-seek like a pro, but with three lives lost, this isn’t a game. His wilderness skills might make him a ghost, but ghosts don’t leave Google searches behind. Why not just turn himself in and save the forest from all this drama? Bet he’s regretting not packing a conscience with his survival kit.
